Well Ive been planning to get this tattoo since I was about 13 or 14 lol. The only thing thats changed within these last past 5 to 4 years is the date at the bottom of the heart grenade which is the date of my fathers passing.
This design features Green Days heart grenade with wings showing how much this band had an influence on me STILL even to this day. I chose that heart grenade because american idiot had the biggest effect on me and because the wings match my fathers death day AND look AWESOME. The lyrics are from Jesus of Suburbia pt V.Tales From Another Broken Home in a font that can be found on the american idiot and 21st century breakdown albums i believe. But yes...
I LOVE that song. The line "to live but not to breathe is to die in tradgety" have always meant something strong to me along with the rest of the whole damn album. Tho all of green days albums are fucking AMAZING. :]
Oh yea and the paint splatter behind has a lot of dif meaning but rly they repersent my love for art [[ obviously ]] , the art that is music [[ green day ]] AND REBELLION [[GREEN DAY! ]]. Fuck having to make str8 lines and make everything look like what we always see! Up yours society! LMAO :) thats my story and im sticking to it.

man I spent a REALLY long time trying to stick to one deign. After I made this one though I thought to myself....."OMG THIS IS IT" haha. So itll hit you the same way Im sure. The right one just sticks out so much more than the rest :]
